Kaylee earned a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the University of Central Missouri in December of 2022. She will be continuing her Graduate education in communication disorders and will graduate in the Spring of 2025. In Kaylee’s high school years her grandpa had pressure build up on his brain, and his memory was affected. He did not remember her name, or the name of his 3 children. Kaylee went to speech therapy sessions with her grandpa and watched him progress and start to strengthen his memory. She fell in love with speech therapy and knew that speech pathology was exactly what she wanted to do. Kaylee wants to help other patients and families experiencing similar situations to see and find comfort in the tiniest to biggest milestone accomplishments.
