
Lindsay, M.S. CCC-SLP
Lindsay Osabuohien (oo-suh-BOO-heen) graduated from Portland State University (Oregon) with bachelor’s degrees in Applied Linguistics and Speech and Hearing Sciences. She then attended the University of Washington for her master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. Lindsay is currently working on her doctoral degree in Speech, Language, Hearing and Communication Disorders at the University of Kansas. Lindsay has extensive clinical and research experience with children with autism and minimal verbal language. At Portland State, she completed additional coursework to receive an educational certificate in “Educating the Child with Autism.” For her graduate internship, she worked at Seattle Children’s Hospital Autism Center. Lindsay has worked as an SLP in the school setting, early intervention, and skilled nursing. She has additionally worked directly to support parents and families in their homes as respite worker, ABA-interventionists, researcher, and assistive technology specialist. Having grown up on a family farm in Southern Idaho, Lindsay loves all things potato! In her spare time, she also enjoys gardening, playing the piano, and visiting National Parks.
