The Pediatric Place is excited to be a Medicaid approved site for AAC evaluations for our pediatric patients. What is AAC? AAC is an acronym for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. Evaluations take place by a Speech-Language Pathologist and works with a team of OTs and PTs in helping to progress a child’s communication.
