It is our top priority to ensure the health and safety of our families and our staff. If any changes are made regarding the clinic by our local health department, state government, and/or the CDC, we will inform you immediately. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
Please text your therapist upon arrival and before leaving your vehicle. You can also call the front desk 660-885-2394 (Clinton) or 660-687-0187 (Knob Noster) to check in. Parents/caregivers will be asked to remain in vehicles during sessions. One parent/caregiver can wait in the lobby or accompany their child in the treatment session if needed. Please, no siblings in the lobby or treatment rooms at this time. Therapists may walk out to the vehicle to walk your child into the building and will walk them back out after the session is over.
A sanitation station has been set up at the entrance of our lobby. We will keep the doors open as much as possible in order to minimize the amount of contact. Everyone that enters the clinic will have their temperature taken with a non contact thermometer. The sanitation station will supply hand sanitizer, cloth masks (for repeated individual use), and paper masks (while supplies last). Cloth masks have been donated and are intended for individuals to take once and use each time they bring their child for therapy. All lobby toys and books have been removed. Chairs have been removed to ensure safe distancing for parents/caregivers waiting for their child.
Lobby doors will remain open as much as possible to avoid contact. The child will be escorted back to our sink and both therapist and child will wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. Door knobs, light switches, table tops, therapy chairs mirrors and therapy supplies will be cleaned between sessions. Hand sanitizer will be used by therapist and child following each session. Our sensory table will remain closed at this time.
Please contact your therapist and/or our front desk staff via email, text or by phone if you have traveled out of the area, have had contact with someone that is showing symptoms , of if you or your child are showing symptoms or do not feel well. Our staff have been asked to do the same.
Our therapists and patients will work to maintain social distancing in common areas (i.e. sink, gym, swing area, restroom, etc.). Chairs have been removed in the lobby to ensure parents/caregivers who are waiting for their child can sit 6' feet apart.
